CHECK IN REQUIREMENT
- Check in time is from 2:00PM onwards and our reception desk is conveniently open until 11:00PM (Currently limited hours), 7 days a week.
- Checkout is at 11:00 AM.
- Security Deposit – if any damage occurs or excessive cleaning is required, you may be charged up to $200+
- All guests must be 18 years or older to check in and must be between 18-45 years old upon check in for (Dormitory Rooms Only)
- Group Reservations: Any reservation with 3 guests or more is considered a group reservation, and requires a 50% deposit down and must be made via email at Info@thebeachwaikikihostel.com (otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation)
- When checking in, please prepare the following:
- VALID PASSPORT or VALID STATE ISSUED ID (must be between 18 – 45 years old upon check in for Dormitory Rooms)
- PROOF OF ONWARDS TRAVEL (Ticket leaving Hawai’i)
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that all cancellations or changes must be submitted via email only.
Standard Periods Cancellations or changes must be made at least 5 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (as indicated at the time of booking).
Booking deposit: requires at least 10 days’ notice prior to the original arrival date in writing via email for any refunds.
Cancellations made less than 5 days before arrival will incur a charge equivalent to the first night's stay.No-shows will be charged for the first two nights, and the remaining reservation will be cancelled.
No refunds will be issued after check-in.Holiday & Peak Periods (December 24 – January 2)
During peak holiday seasons, including Christmas and New Year’s, all cancellations or modifications must be made at least 21 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Yes, we've got you covered-literally. Fresh linens are provided, towels are available for a $2 rental fee per towel and outside bedding isn't allowed. Leave the packing space for souvenirs, not sheets!
Yes, each dorm room has a shared bathroom and shower for 4-6, depending on which room you book. Additional communal restrooms near reception and on our rooftop! It's not exactly a spa, but hey, the ocean is right there if you want the deluxe saltwater treatment!
Absolutely! Our communal kitchens are open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Cook up a storm, but remember: the cleaner your kitchen, the happier your fellow travelers.

Yes! We offer free rentals for all your beach-day essentials, including bodyboards, snorkels, umbrellas, and more.
Yes, there are lockers in the dorm rooms. Just bring a small lock to keep your treasures secure.
Waikiki Beach is just a short walk away. Sand, surf, and sunsets are practically in our backyard-don't forget the sunscreen!
We don’t serve breakfast, but we do offer free coffee to jumpstart your day! Plus, guests get a discount at our café, and there are plenty of amazing breakfast spots nearby.
Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No exceptions, even if your visitor can do a killer ukulele solo.
Yes! We run daily tours and weekly events. Check our WhatsApp group for updates on events. Come for the activities, stay for the new friends!
Dorm rooms are for guests aged 18-45. There is no age restriction for all private rooms. If you're outside this range and still want to book, please send us an email!
Yes, luggage storage is available for $5, giving you the freedom to enjoy your last day without lugging around your stuff.
